how do I post on the blog, i am a recruiter, and am very frustrated, i agree that recruiting is difficult, and that there are jobs in undesirable locations, but not everyone can or wants to be in Miami or Boston. I tell candidates that contingency recruiters usually have jobs that have trouble getting candidates for various reasons, but those groups or locations need doctors too! And I have placed many doctors with groups where both parties are very happy. I would like to join in anyway to make the recruiting experience honest and open. I have asked candidates to let me recruit for them in an unbiased way, but they usually dont want to pay for the service, not everyone has time or wants to blast their CV everywhere, especially doctors that dont want anyone to know they are looking. It is a small world. There is no free lunch, recruiting is more than email blasting your cv everywhere. A recruiter can and should be an advocate and I have been very involved in getting candidates higher income, benefits, bonuses etc. We are not all monsters! But I agree, it can get very cut throat. and I am looking for a better way!
